Micah Rainey is pursuing her M.S. in Wildlife & Fisheries Sciences at Texas A&M University as part of the Texas Carnivore Ecology Lab. She will be focusing on the Coyotes and Cattle research project on the San Antonio Viejo Ranch, with a broad interest in coyote ecology, disease transmissions, and spatial ecology. She developed her passion for wildlife biology in her hometown of Stephenville, Texas.
Micah earned her B.S. in Natural Resources Management with a concentration in Wildlife Biology from Texas Tech University. During her time at Texas Tech, Micah worked on several studies, including a study on snowy plover populations in the Southern Great Plains and scaled quail nesting in Texas.
