Madeleine Thornley is currently pursuing her M.S. in Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences in Dr. Michael Morrison's lab at Texas A&M University College Station. Madeleine's research focuses on birds of prey and other avian assemblages across the San Antonio Viejo and El Sauz ranches. 

Madeleine completed her Bachelor's degree in Natural Resources Management from Texas Tech University where she worked on an array of research projects. She primarily worked in Dr. Clint Boal's USGS Cooperative Wildlife Research Lab, and was a C.I.S.E.R. Undergraduate Research Scholar. She was also an officer for the Texas Tech Chapter of the Wildlife Society, and her primary undergraduate research project assessed the food habits of American kestrel's in the Llano Estacado of Texas.
