Our education program is multifaceted and takes place in the classroom, on the land, and in partnership with many organizations that are helping to lead the way in natural resource conservation education. We deliver programming, knowledge, and leadership skills to students in south Texas, including undeserved communities, benefiting the region now and in the future.
East Foundation partners with Texas Wildlife Association to create Stewarding Texas - A Scientific Exploration, a compilation of lessons designed to introduce the principals of land stewardship to students in kindergarten through eighth grade. Integrating stewardship lessons into classrooms statewide promotes stewardship awareness and inspires students and teachers to take action.
The Stewarding Texas resource guide is available to educators online via the Texas Wildlife Association website. Create a profile to access lessons, activities, media, and resources at any time.
